-Oversee and manage team on completion of federal and state income taxes for individuals, corporations, partnerships, organizations, and trusts
-Ensure compliance with timelines, extensions, reviews with clients and entities
-Strong and current knowledge of tax law, Tax Code, RIA, philanthropy, investments strategies for high new worth clientele
-Build and maintain new and existing client relationships providing excellent planning, consulting, and expertise
-Manage innovative tax planning programs and strategies, review complex income tax returns and identify all tax risks
-Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
-Maintain and develop a strong professional business and community network internally and externally
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related financial field required
-MTA or active CPA certification/license highly desirable
-5-7 + years recent public tax accounting, fiduciary tax, financial planning, trust/estate planning experience required
-Excellent knowledge of current tax law, tax compliance and relevant laws and codes
-Strong leadership and personnel management skills
-Team player, great interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
-Detail oriented, critical thinker and problem- solving skills
-Strong knowledge and proficiency of tax software programs and Microsoft Office Suite
