Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced preferred Logistics Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of freight. You will play a critical role in optimizing our operations and ensuring efficient and effective logistics processes while assisting the Terminal Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize delivery efficiency
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of transportation , routing, mapping, create manifests and delivery scheduling.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, delivery fulfillment, and quality control.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Manage relationships with employees
- Assisting Terminal Manger
Skills:
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and management principles
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office- All formats
- Type 30 words per min
- Understands how to use Google Maps and other navigation platforms
- Warehouse Management, mutli tasker, fast learner, attention to detail is a must.
-Bilingual Preferred
- Ability to use and Navigate multiple screens

- Answering phones, filing, organization skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities in a logistics context
