Job Description
We are a transit research data collection firm seeking for Field Interviewers who are flexible for a 1 month project starting March 19th-June 12th, 2024 for Fresno Public Transportation (FAX). This is an entry level customer service position. You will be hired to conduct surveys with riders on all FAX fixed bus routes throughout the Fresno area on a tablet and plotting start and end locations on Google Maps for market research to improve transit in the Fresno region.
Schedule is Monday-Friday, AM Shift, 5:00am-1:00pm, PM Shift, 1:00pm-10:00pm approx.
Work Schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri, 5:00AM-1:00PM, Wed-Thur 1:00PM-10:00PM
Report Locations: Downtown Transit Center

Training Time: 8:00AM-12:00PM
Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Pay rate: $19.00 per hour paid weekly
Requirements:
· Must be prompt as timeliness is important
· Must be able to communicate with strangers (Bus Passengers)
· Must possess knowledge of smartphones and/or tablet programs
· Must possess knowledge of Google maps
· Must be able to stand on your feet on board a moving bus for up to 7 - 8 hours
· Must be comfortable asking personal travel and demographic questions Field Interviewer
