General Contractor/ Construction Company looking for an Office Admin Manager. We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven person to direct and help manage our organization’s daily office activities. This position will also require interaction with Subcontractors, Vendors, Suppliers, Architects, and Engineers.
Essential Duties
Prepare and submit weekly payroll allocating budget resources
Overseeing daily division operations.
Ensuring that projects run smoothly by employing efficient and competent administrative staff
Screens permit applications and documents for completeness and compliance with local related codes, laws, ordinances, statutes, and construction industry standards.
Prepare bills and payments for owner approval
Be responsible for collecting and entering data from subcontractors
Accurately input data into spreadsheets and databases
Manage relationship with vendors, service providers, and ensuring that all items are paid on time
Working with architects, surveyors, engineers, and several other relevant personnel to check and review project plans
Monitoring that the costs and/or expenses of a construction project are in strict compliance with the client or the organization’s budget
Ensuring the maintenance and promotion of health and safety on construction sites by enforcing safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements
Be able to run front office with little or no direction from management
Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of Business Functions, QuickBooks, Excel, and Accounting
Strong leadership skills and experience
Great customer service skills & positive attitude
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Preferred but not required: someone who shows demonstrated knowledge of the construction field.
