The City of Paso Robles is excited to announce the recruitment for an Engineering Inspector in the Community Development Department, and we invite you to apply to join our team! The department consists of Planning, Building, and Engineering divisions and is dedicated to the development, long-range planning, engineering, and inspection of the private and public improvements of Paso Robles. The City is rapidly growing, and we have many commercial, industrial, and housing tract projects approved and in construction. Inspectors are a key part of the process to ensure orderly development.
The Engineering Inspector is classified as a technician III or IV. Placement into and advancement within these ranges is based on experience, education, and certification. Please be sure to include all pertinent information and documentation on/with your application.
Current Wage Ranges:
Engineering Inspector (Technician III): $35.59 - $45.16 hourly | $74,017.84 - $93,935.40 annually
Senior Engineering Inspector (Technician IV): $39.11 - $49.63 hourly | $81,341.00 - $103,222.60 annually
Employees will receive a wage increase of up to 3% effective January 5, 2025.
