We are seeking someone who is highly-motivated and passionate about architecture and the built-environment. Our designs are a collaborative effort allowing a team approach to the process. The applicant should have experience in the areas of retail, office and multi-family residential design, and historic preservation, and be passionate about quality design solutions that make statements within the communities in which we work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary focus on CAD drafting of plans.
To help develop construction documents from design drawings and red-lines.
Producing plans and project documents for submittals with minimal supervision.
Updating plans due to evolving design revisions.
Working with Design Manager and existing team on all aspects of project development and
follow through.
Experience in an architecture or design field an ability to read plans and building codes .
Knowledge of using AutoCAD, including paper space, Xref, plotting, etc.
Presently using 2017 or newer version.
Experience generating schedules, PME's, and elevations, sections, ETC.
Willing and able to adapt to company procedures and standards.
Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow-through and multi-tasking abilities.
Effective Communication skills.
Proficient Microsoft Office and Adobe.
To coordinate with consultants and complete projects through the permitting process.
Review and check drawings for accuracy and coordination.
