Description We are in the search for a Bookkeeper to become part of our team. This role is based in Fresno, California and is immersed in the industry of finance and accounting. The ideal Bookkeeper will be tasked with managing accounts payable and receivable, handling payroll, performing data entry, and maintaining journal entries. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable Handle payroll functions for accuracy and timeliness Ensure data entry tasks are performed with attention to detail Maintain journal entries, keeping them updated and accurate Conduct account reconciliation tasks regularly Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy Utilize Microsoft Excel for various bookkeeping tasks Maintain accurate records and back up data as necessary Act as a point of contact to resolve bookkeeping inquiries Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeping role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations Skilled in Bookkeeping practices and principles Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in managing Payroll Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving abilities Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
