Our company, Kitchen Management Solutions, is growing and we are looking for a hard-working, self-motivated Head Chef and Assistant Chefs to join our team. We love hiring motivated people from culinary programs too! Working on the college school semester schedule, you will be off work to spend time with your family around holidays and take trips in summer time. Those with previous industry experience and knowledge of American/ Asian/ Mexican and Italian cuisine are encouraged to apply.
Head Chef Responsibilities:
Plan, Prep and Cook all food preparation
Create and develop menus that meet quality standards for 40 students
Track food and labor costs
Evaluate products to assure that quality, price and related goods are consistently met
Purchase food and supplies from vendors approved by the company and monitor inventory
Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Ensure strict health and hygiene standards as well as maintaining the cleanest kitchen in the city
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Perform administrative duties
Keep time and payroll records
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and clients
Requirements:
Previous experience as a head chef
Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Current on cooking trends and best practices
BS degree in Culinary Science or related certificate is preferred.
ServSafe Managers Certified
Strong knowledge of local, state and federal food sanitation regulations
The ideal candidate for this position is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about food service.

Looking to hire Head Chef and train ASAP, service starts 4/22. This position will be full time till the end of school, then in August will plan on coming back for a full years of service
