We’re seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join a professional and friendly dental office in Kingsburg, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant
Pay Rate: $21.60 – $28.18 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Kingsburg/Dinuba, CA.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures.
Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout their visit.
Take and develop dental x-rays as directed.
Sterilize, prepare, and organize dental instruments and equipment.
Perform coronal polishing, fluoride application, and sealant placement (as certified).
Place and remove rubber dams, matrices, and wedges.
Take impressions for temporary crowns and removable appliances.
Remove sutures, excess cement, and temporary restorations.
Apply bases, liners, and bonding agents.
Perform mouth mirror inspections for charting of restorations and conditions.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and dental board regulations.
Qualifications:
Active California RDA license (required).
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant.
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and materials.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
