Residential Care Facility Administrator's Assistant

RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITY ADMINISTRATOR'S ASSISTANT.

He/she manages every aspect of the daily operations of the assisted living residential home for the elderly and provides excellent residential services.

EXEMPLARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Administrator oversees the daily operations including the food service, managing the residents’ daily needs, and medical visits, and supervises staff.

He/she prepares weekly menus for all residents including dietary restrictions by certain individuals.

He/she maintains weekly staff schedules.

He/she trains, motivates, and stimulates the productivity of staff.

The Administrator assures compliance with policy and procedure.

Maintain accurate medical records.

Maintain an accurate daily journal.

Maintain a clean environment.

Maintain activities to keep residents motivated, including games, trips, and workshops.

He/she completes reports, evaluations, and records with timeliness and accuracy.

He/she maintains high levels of communication with personnel.

He/she works closely with the owners to ensure complete operations and compliance with all state and local licensing, regulations, and Fire departments.

Maintain confidential information such as HIPPA and follow healthcare regulations.

Able to respond in emergency and urgent situations within a reasonable time.

Able to handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Communicate with staff, residents, and families. Strong organization and attention to detail.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Two years college degree or at least two years experience working in healthcare.

Knowledge of medicine is required.

Note: We will send the candidate to get an RCFE license. Successfully passing the RCFE examination is required to continue to work in this position.

SKILLS:

Fluent in English

Good computer skills.

Great knowledge of medicine.

Good customer service skills. Valid CA Driver’s License; clean, current DMV printout, and have car insurance. Must provide own transportation to use on company business.

Positive attitude.

Dependable, consistent performance.

Work well under pressure.
