Position: Delivery/Parts Runner
Job Duties:
Deliveries in town and out of town
Parts Runner (Pick up parts when requested)
Ensuring that delivery vehicles are maintained (oil, tires, wipers, tire air pressure etc. and notify mechanics of issues to be serviced)
Ensuring that delivery vehicles have current plates, registration, and insurance.
Assist with loading and unloading supplies to be delivered.
Loading and unloading from Trailers or Containers
Stacking in buildings, trailers, or transport vehicles
Any other job required to maintain the safety of the Vehicles being worked on
Other duties as directed.
Working Conditions:
Inside Building
Outdoors
Working in the Heat (Breaks allowed- Water, Shade Provided)
Working in the Cold (Breaks allowed -to warm up)
Working in the rain, snow, hail, wind, or fog
Qualifications:
Ability to lift 80lbs regularly or occasionally more with assistance.
Ability to bend throughout the day.
Ability to stand for periods of time.
Ability to reach overhead.
Ability to walk from one building to another or around the premises.
Ability to use small equipment needed to perform job. Forklifts, scissors, pallet jacks, etc.
This position requires repetitive motion of the back, shoulders, arms, legs, wrists, knees, elbows, hips, back and neck.
Valid Drivers License with good driving record for insurance purposes.
