The Alarm Technician primary responsibility is to install and/or assist under the direction
of a senior technician and/or upper-level technician when installing various systems such
as burglary, fire, CCTV, and access control. The Alarm Technician must have
the ability to legally operate a company vehicle as they will be responsible for conducting
their job duties for multiple clients and responding to other calls for service during a
given shift. The Alarm Technician must deliver service according to our key
areas of success and that is in alignment with our four Operating Standards: Safety,
Quality, Image, and Efficiency.
QUALIFICATION
● Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, knowledge
of safety codes and regulations, and have good workmanship.
● Previous Fire/Burg alarm experience a plus.
● Must have Valid CA Drivers license.
● Have the ability to handle physical work, lift min. 50Lb, bend, kneel, climb ladders etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● You will be installing/programming, maintaining, and inspecting a wide range of Fire
Alarm systems.
● May be working by themselves or with a team.
● Will be working wherever the work is located.
● This position will typically work Monday through Friday however weekends may be
requested on an as need basis.
● Prepare installation equipment.
● Process documentation as required.

OBJECTIVES
Pull wire/cable for various installations as an assistant to upper-level installers. Assist
upper-level installers with installations for burglar, fire, CCTV, and access control
systems as required. Prepare installation equipment. Process documentation as
required. Establish positive contact with customers. Install wireless alarm systems
independently. Attend and complete training, including online and on-site courses.
