Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate and maintain machinery in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong focus on quality control, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic machine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery according to safety guidelines and company procedures.
Set up and calibrate machines for production runs.
Inspect finished products for quality, adjusting as needed to meet specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions immediately.
Record production data, including quantities, machine downtime, and other relevant metrics.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical drawings, and manuals.
Knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and maintenance.
Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50lbs and more, stand for long periods, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
