WANTED: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – SE HABLA ESPANOL - Hiring NOW.
C&H Real Estate, LLC is looking for an experienced technician to perform repair and maintenance duties at several rental properties in Clovis and Fresno. These are multi-family apartment buildings.
Essential tasks will include:
Turning vacant units (painting, patching sheetrock, installing flooring, rekeying locks etc.)
Plumbing repair (installing/repairing sinks, cartridges, garbage disposals, dishwashers, and water heaters, etc.)
Electrical (installing/repairing ceiling fans, outlets, electric stoves, breakers, etc.)
Exterior work (fence repair, installing gutters, brick patio installation, painting)
Limited grounds keeping
Occasionally responding to emergency calls outside of normal business hours
Wearing proper protective equipment while performing job duties (i.e., goggles, knee pads, respirators, etc.)
Requirements of the job:
Minimum 2 years of experience
Vehicle with proof of insurance
Valid driver’s license
Smartphone
Plumbing, electrical and/or appliance repair skills are a plus but not required

Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Regularly works indoors and outdoors
Occasionally work with toxic or caustic chemicals such as degreasers, and sprays

Moderate noise level
Frequently exposed to wet/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat.
Working on on-call emergency calls
Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the property owner or property manager
Must be able to do all essential work and emergency work as needed
Must be very flexible with scheduling to include nights and weekends
We need someone who can communicate well, prioritize tasks, and work projects to completion.
Technician will have guidance and support from our property managers, company manager and other maintenance technicians, but should feel comfortable working on their own.

This is a full-time position with 40 hours/week available. Starting salary is $18/hour. After introductory period we offer 6 paid holidays, 10 paid vacation days and paid sick leave.
