We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plant Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in a cold storage and food distribution plant located in Reedley, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenace, with expertise in various technical areas including performing preventative maintenace, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and ensuring overall safety and efficient operation of industrial plant equipment and machinery. Key responsibilities include performing routine inspections, conducting repairs, maintaining equipment records, complying with safety standards, and often requiring knowledge of various industrial tools and machines.
Responsibilities:
Conducting planned and routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Installing and setting up new machinery, wiring, and other equipment according to specifications.
Monitoring equipment performance, making adjustments, and ensuring optimal efficiency.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed and equipment status.
Adhering to and enforcing safety policies and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Proficiency using various tools and machinery common in industrial settings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician within a manufacturing environment.
Attention to detail. Accuracy and conscientiousness in performing tasks.
Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail to ensure proper maintenance and repairs.
Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and sometimes work on-call or overtime.
Ability to analyze problems effectively and develop efficient solutions in a timely manner.
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is preferred.
Ability to multitask and prioritize is a must.
Experience with refrigeration and diesel engines would get you a interview immediately!
