JOB DESCRIPTION:
You are applying for a Route Technician position. This job requires you to visit, test, and chemically treat approximately 50 accounts per day. You must enjoy working outdoors and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
We work a four-day week Monday-Thursday that starts at 6am and is completed when your route is done (no more than 10 hrs. per day, and average route takes about 8.5- 9 hours). We do require a two-week training/probation period. During this time, you will be assessed to see if you are compatible for the position, and then offered a seasonal job position with Pure Water Pools. You are classified as an “at will” employee.
PAY SCALE:
Training/Probation Period is on an hourly basis at $20 per hour (first two weeks). This is an entry level/seasonal position to start with, full time permanent positions are offered based on performance, attendance, and availability. There is an opportunity to earn additional money for work orders turned in, and commission for parts sold.
Payroll checks are issued on the 16th (for work done 1-15) and the first day of the month (for work done 16-31). Commission checks over $10.00 are issued on the 10th of each month, if under $10.00 they are included in your payroll check on the 16th.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
You must be in good health and able to tolerate the heat. You must be able to do lifting and squatting without physical impairments. This is a non-smoking job; we cannot allow smoking in company vehicles, or at a customer’s residence. You are required to wear a company work shirt, and neat pants or shorts.
You must have a clean driving record (a DMV printout will be required). A pre-employment drug screen is also required since you will be driving a company vehicle. No passengers are allowed in a company vehicle, and if cited you will be terminated. GPS tracking devices are installed in company vehicles to monitor safe driving, and route efficiency. A Background check will be run after employment is offered and accepted.
