This is a Temp-to-Hire position with good benefits once hired.
-Responsible for new and continuing certification of families and assistance program operations
-Is available as a contact for clients’ questions and concerns; Receiving incoming calls for information and screens for eligibility for services
-Create and maintain computer database for assigned families
-Maintain a caseload of 250+ clients
-Complete all processing of client files within 30-days or sooner from the date the client information is received
-Act as liaison for clients, child care providers, and other social service agencies
-Focus on clients’ service needs, complete intake forms, create case files, maintain said files and case/contact notes
-Provide specialized information about the program to parents, child care providers, and community
-Provide the highest quality of service to clients, child care providers, and community
-Knowledgeable with local, state, and federal government terms and regulations
-Accurate data entry of family information
-Superb customer service skills with outstanding competency with people of diverse backgrounds
-Strong ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and work effectively under strict deadlines
-Comfortable speaking to clients and care providers about program policies and procedures
-Ability to be sensitive, have compassion, and respond to diversity
-Ability to maintain accurate client records and organized files, with strong ability to document actions and statements concisely and objectively
-Assist client with special appointments, outside of the traditional work schedule
Requirements
-At least two years of experience with State subsidized programs or specific courses related to the social services field
-Computer skills required Microsoft Word
-Regular and daily attendance
-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-Fluent in English and able to effectively or clearly communicate with supervisor and co-workers
-Skill in typing and the ability to use standard office machines
-Sufficient alphabetizing, reading, and computer skills to fulfill essential job functions
-Excellent Time Management and Strong Organizational skills
-A courteous and pleasant person who is concerned about the families served
