Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret job specifications and prepare all necessary materials before commencing work.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, and priming.
- Select and use proper types of paints, products and equipment.
- Apply paint to surfaces including walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture using brushes, rollers, and sprayers with a keen eye for detail.
- Ensure a clean work environment by using plastic, drop cloths, paper and tape and cleaning up all equipment and work areas at the end of each job.
- Work efficiently under minimal supervision and complete tasks within allocated time frames.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including clear communication about the progress of projects and any issues encountered.
- Work in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a professional painter with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strong knowledge of different painting techniques and products, with an ability to make recommendations based on project needs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
- Good physical condition, able to stand for prolonged periods, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects when necessary.
