We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier automotive services.
Position Overview: As an Estimator you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient estimates for customers seeking collision repair services. You will work directly with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to assess vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, and facilitate the repair process. Your attention to detail and knowledge of automotive repairs will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting our repair team.
Key Responsibilities:
Show up and be on time is essential.
Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and identify necessary repairs.
Prepare accurate, detailed estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
Communicate with customers to explain the damage assessment, repair process, and estimate breakdown.
Work with insurance companies to ensure accurate coverage and timely approvals for repairs.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure estimates are aligned with the work required.
Maintain organized records of estimates, repairs, and customer communications.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions throughout the repair process.
Stay current with automotive repair trends, industry standards, and estimating software.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the auto body repair industry (minimum of 1 year preferred).
Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures and processes.
Experience with estimating software (e.g., CCC One,).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
I-CAR certification or similar industry-recognized certifications.
Experience working with insurance companies and knowledge of insurance claim processes.
