Position: Fabricator – Mechanic – Auto Restoration
Description: Concept Transporters, an industry leader in design and manufacturing of custom vehicles, is in need of High Quality Fabricators / Mechanics for its Fresno based custom fabrication shop. Persons with ANY of the skills sets listed below that wants to develop additional manufacturing skills and would like the opportunity to work in a high-profile custom fabrication shop is encouraged to apply. Applicants with experience and/or passion for auto racing or the automotive aftermarket are preferred. Willing to train the right candidates who are proficient in basic mechanical skills and desire to learn and grow.
Desired Skills and Experience: (Applicants must have at least one of the following skill sets.)
High mechanical aptitude with proficiency in the use of hand tools.
Proficient in MIG or TIG welding steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.
Proficient in sheet metal layout and fabrication.
Experienced in the disassembly and reassemble of vehicles and equipment.
Experienced with basic machining.
Experienced in wood working or cabinet making.
Proficient in DC and/or AC electrical circuits.
Experienced with basic hydraulic systems.
Experienced in hydraulic and/or electrical systems diagnostics.
Proficient in general automotive or diesel mechanical repairs.
Experienced in Class 8 semi-truck maintenance.
Experienced in trailer air brakes and suspension repair and maintenance.
Proficient in RV (recreational vehicle) repair and maintenance.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated.
Must be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
