What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician, you will:
Fabricate & Test: Build enclosures and bench test new systems, including low voltage electrical cabling.
Install & Commission: Carefully install and commission controllers and related devices.
Troubleshoot & Optimize: Diagnose, calibrate, upgrade, and replace system components for optimal performance.
Network Deployment: Test, configure, and debug PLCs, VFDs, and maintain robust wireless networks.
Streamline Operations: Manage online work orders, inventory, and project management systems for efficient operations.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3 to 4 years in a field operations/technical role, preferably with HVAC, pumps, and irrigation systems.
Technical Skills: Proficient in configuring and deploying control systems, low voltage electrical work, and troubleshooting software.
Wireless Networking: Familiarity with wireless sensor networks and their deployment.
Problem Solver: Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
Team Player: A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues and clients.
Travel Requirements
This role primarily involves local travel within a 100-mile radius of Madera, CA, with occasional overnight stays for specific projects. We aim to keep travel manageable while providing diverse and rewarding experiences.
