TRUCK DISPATCHER:
Must be able to coordinate and manage the schedules of truck drivers to ensure products and goods are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. They receive calls for truck services and contact their fleet of truck drivers to arrange the pickups and deliveries. They must maintain contact with truck drivers throughout their routes to monitor their progress and troubleshoot any problems that may arise along the way. They will relay information to customers to keep them informed of delivery dates and time estimates.
Dispatcher must be organized, have clear communication skills, and be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently. They must be vigilant in staying on top of schedules and monitoring truck drivers' progress throughout the pickup and delivery phases. Knowledge of tracking dispatch software and satellite and global positioning systems is useful as well as being computer savvy. The job also requires strong knowledge of the trucking company's policies and procedures as well as the shipping and driving rules and regulations for both local and regional areas. Truck dispatchers must know the roads and highways they're dispatching trucks to. In addition to all of these skills and knowledge, we are seeking dispatchers who are detail-oriented, particularly in keeping records of trucking deliveries and pickups for billing.

- Experience using Excel/Email
- Advanced Computer Skills
