JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for dependable drivers with flexible work schedules
Must have clean driving record (Drivers with 1 point on record will be considered if they qualify with our insurance)
Must be at least 25 years of age or older.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Drive vehicles to sites as instructed.
Maintain vehicle areas in clean, efficient, and workable condition.
Exhibit positive working attitude by demonstrating respect for fellow workers and customers.
Assist with other duties as may be indicated.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be able to work in a constantly and physically demanding setting. Must possess a clean driving record. Must possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and maintain a professional demeanor when working with staff, clients and the public, with the ability to multi-task. Must be detail-oriented and be able to work independently. Candidate must clear a sex offender registry, drug screening and criminal background check. Must understand and appreciate the mission of K & A Medical Transportation and be available to work any of the seven days in a week.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school degree or equivalent.
A good driving record, including no DUI in the last 10 years.
Minimum two years driving experience.
Familiar with driving patterns in the Fresno or Madera County area.
Exhibit reasonable mechanical aptitude about equipment and vehicles.
Able to stand, squat, bend and climb in and out of a van.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires manual physical labor. Candidate will experience frequent bending, squatting, lifting and repetitive motion. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. This position will occasionally be exposed in weather (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.).
We will be having open interviews on May 22,25&27 from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
