Description We are offering an opportunity for a Human Resources and Payroll Administrator in the Food & Food Processing industry located in Gardena, California. In this role, you will be integral in managing HR-related functions, full cycle payroll, ensuring compliance, and maintaining an organized and efficient workplace.Responsibilities: Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment. Ensure accurate record-keeping of employee information in digital and printed format. Take charge of the recruitment process, including background checks and coordination with hiring managers. Oversee the use of HR systems like ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, and Ceridian. Handle employee benefit functions and respond to related queries or issues. Conduct periodic audits to ensure all HR processes are followed correctly. Employ use of Concur and About Time for time tracking and expense management. Ensure adherence to compliance standards in all HR operations. Manage inquiries and requests related to the HR department. Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, life, and other employee benefits.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the Food & Food Processing industry Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Experience with Ceridian, Concur, and About Time software Strong auditing skills and experience Familiarity with conducting background checks Understanding of benefit functions within a Human Resources context Knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance within the HR function Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Professional certification in Human Resources (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
