Description Robert Half is partnering with a company looking for a Payroll Tax Associate. This is a HYBRID role in Glendale, CA 91203.Responsibilities, in part: Manage and process payroll tax filings. Generate reports and analyze payroll tax data for internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems. Conduct thorough research on tax-related issues and provide timely resolutions. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, implementing necessary updates to ensure compliance. Reconcile tax accounts and address discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in responding to inquiries and audits from tax authorities.Requirements Must be able to work ONSITE in Glendale, CA (HYBRID role, optional 2 day/week remote after onboarding) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Multi-state payroll tax filing experience Proven experience in payroll tax compliance Knowledge of iSolved preferred Certification in Payroll (CPP) is a plus Proven proficiencies in payroll, tax deposit, taxing authorities, and tax reporting Proficient in payroll processing software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work well under strict time constraints Knowledge of PC, Windows, Internet, word processing, and spreadsheets required.
