As the Lead Technical Product Manager, Platform & Security you will work directly with the CTO to lead features and capabilities for our internal PaaS (platform as a service). You will partner with the platform, data, security and software engineering teams to develop and execute a long-term vision that will productize DevOps and securely scale DISQO's data & insights platform.

What you will do:

    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to build and securely scale our cloud platform
    • Own the product roadmap and define Epic and User Stories requirements and acceptance criteria for both technical and non-technical requirements
    • Define goals for business metrics and platform health (OKRs, SLIs/SLOs). Carry out roadmap initiatives to reach those goals
    • Prioritize and coordinate backlog ensuring a healthy balance between technical debt, defect resolution, and new features.
    • Manage cross-team & company dependencies
    • Collaborate with software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, IT engineering, security engineering, product management, data science, data analytics and other teams to drive initiatives forward
    • Build instrumentation, monitoring and evaluation capabilities to create better platform products and to measure the impact of your work
    • Deliver general security concepts in the software development lifecycle (Identity and Access Management, encryption, security logging, pen-testing processes, etc)
    • Communicate with teams, stakeholders, customers, and vendors effectively


What you bring to the table:
    • 10+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, product management or solutions architecture
    • 3+ years of product management experience leading platform, infrastructure or security teams
    • Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS and cloud technologies. Specific experience with IaaS (AWS, GCP, Azure), PaaS (Heroku, Cloud Foundry), Microservices, API Gateways and container frameworks (Kubernetes, Helm & Docker)
    • Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and modern web and application development concepts & technologies
    • Experience creating requirements, design of APIs and enterprise services based on an API-first approach
    • Demonstrated experience building products and services to accelerate internal engineering teams in a global environment.
    • Solid understanding of Cybersecurity and a general understanding of compliance regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC2, etc. Having one or more industry-recognized security certifications such as; Sec+, GCIA, GCIH, CEH, CISSP, etc. is a big plus.
    • You are a strong Systems Thinker and can decompose complex problems into coherent smaller parts
    • High-level knowledge and awareness of modern cloud based big data and analytics tooling & methods (Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, Data Lakes, Data Pipelines, ETL/ELT, ) is a big plus
