Local Entertainment company is seeking an experienced bookkeeping contractor. Applicants should have a proven positive record of trusted and responsible employment in bookkeeping or accounting as well as a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices - including experience with Paypal reporting.
Paypal has changed their reports in recent years and as a result they are very difficult to manage, you must have extensive experience with Paypal reports and be able to delete the erroneous entries in order to properly allocate incomes and expenses. This will be a contract position (not an employee) working out of your own home or office. Perfect job for stay at home mom/dad or partly retired individual! We offer flexibility, independence, and are looking for a long-term relationship with the right individual.
Duties will include:
Reconciling monthly Paypal reports
Multiple Bank reconciliations
Monthly P&L updates
Administration of quarterly sales tax
Prepare annual 1099's
Minimum Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. in Accounting
Two to three years' of experience working in Accounting
Highly organized and detail oriented
Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficient in Excel and Word, with the ability to email and fax information
