Job Summary
This position will work with transition age current and former system involved youth ages 18-25 in developing successful Independent Living Skills, finding and maintaining stable housing, and achieving self-sufficiency. Requires good community collaboration, knowledge of housing resources, and strong landlord engagement skills. If you are a team player that thrives on solving challenges that result in life altering change in a young adult’s life, then this job is for you!
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities, is qualifying.
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in education, psychology, social work, or other closely related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least two years’ experience working with programs which required extensive coordination between agencies and direct services to teens.
At least one year’s experience working with programs that required extensive interaction with teenage youth.
