Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is looking for Support Staff for the Ski & Board School to ensure smooth implementation of indoor operations and guest facing operations. These may include assisting FOH during peak check-in periods, checking guests in, preparing/serving food to guests and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout SBS facilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Ability to work weekends and holidays
-Excellent verbal, written and radio communication skills
-Organizational and Time management skills
-Ability to understand and comply with company/departmental policies and procedures
-Ability to work with other departments and maintain positive relationships
-Ability to build positive connections with people quickly
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to assess and manage potential risk
-Strong desire to provide positive guest service
-Drive to develop and improve on the job
-Work in an alpine winter environment which may include Snow and inclement weather
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Prior experience in sales, Ski/Snowboard Rentals and/or Food and Beverage
-Ski Industry experience
-Teaching or Ski/Snowboard School experience
-PSIA/AASI level 1 (or equivalent)
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
-Endeavor to provide a positive resort-wide guest experience
-Responsible for complying with policy and procedure guidelines
-Meeting departmental goals; NPS and Safety
-Assisting FOH, F&B and SBS to ensure positive guest experience
-Successful time management; starting shift on time, completing tasks on time etc.
-Understand and know personal schedule
-Working with SBS leadership team regarding availability and any other relevant needs
-Snow Removal
-Strong guest service
