Looking for KITCHEN STAFF (specifically LINE COOKS) to join our team at THE PLACE on South Pine in downtown Nevada City.
We offer a healthy and hearty breakfast and lunch to the historic district and are looking to work side-by-side with creative, fun and interesting folks who want to work hard and have fun while we do it. As THE PLACE continues to evolve, we want to find amazing people who want to be a part of that journey with us.
At this time we are hiring LINE COOKS and DISHWASHERS. There will be opportunities to cross-train if it’s a good fit. Experience is great a strong work ethic and a willingness to listen, learn and grow is what we’re looking for.
The position is part time to start – weekend availability is a must. Shifts start as early as 6AM if you open and end around 330-4PM if you’re closing. We’re looking for self-motivated, team oriented, dynamic folks who enjoy cooking on-the-line whether it’s slow or busy or in-between. We have a kitchen that is small and forward facing so cleanliness, spatial awareness and smiling are all a part of the job.
Starting salary is $17 an hour with equal tip sharing between FOH and BOH.
