We operate 47 dining venues, including dining rooms, fast-casual, cafeterias, bars, employee facilities, delis and snack shops. It's high volume, fast-paced and fun! Job Summary:

As a Kitchen Staff member, you would be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in and around the kitchen such as light food prep, serving food in a quick service outlet, running pre-ordered food to tables, performing dishwasher duties, and running a cash register. As this is an entry-level position, no prior experience is needed.

The Details:

Position Type: Seasonal

Season Dates: Late April 2024 - Late October 2024

Pay: $15.00/hr

Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

Kitchen Staff have a variety of responsibilities in and around the back of the house area of our dining facilities, and may include the following:

Dishwasher, Potwasher, Steward: you would be responsible for cleaning all kitchen service ware and general kitchen area.

Cafeteria Busser, Hot Runner, Cafeteria Service, Cold Runner: you would be responsible for prep, set-up, service, clean up, and restocking of food service areas.

Cafeteria Cashier: you would be responsible for entering all food and beverage items into the Point Of Sale system, collecting accurate payment from the guest, securely handling and balancing a cash bank, processing all forms of payment, and accurately depositing all sales.

Buffet Service: you would be responsible for prep, set-up, service, clean-up, and restocking of guest buffets.

Pantry Line, Bulk Prep, Sandwich Person, A.M. Pantry, P.M. Pantry: you would be responsible for preparation of bulk items, salad bar items, to ordering items, etc. as needed for guest and employee service.

Fast Food Crew: you would be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in and around the operation. Responsibilities will include being knowledgeable of all menu items, maintaining cleanliness, collecting and processing accurate payment, and securely handling and balancing a cash bank.

Qualifications:

Ability to provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner.

Ability to follow all policies, procedures, and service standards.

Experience working with prep and par lists and experience following standardized recipes preferred.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions.

Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely with all kitchen equipment.

Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.

Must be able to walk for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be able to bend, stretch and reach for extended periods of time.
