Looking for experienced male caregiver to take out 92 year old Korean war vet out to do various errands around Auburn.
The client is 92, fit, sharp minded and quite capable with his walker. He was diagnosed with mild dementia which affects his short-term memory so he may repeat a question several times but he is otherwise pretty sharp cognitively. Using your car, help the client pursue 1-2 objectives (errands) each day. Since the cooking at his VA residence is a bit dull, he likes to have lunch at interesting local restaurants and will typically treat you. His residence is non-smoking so he'll want to enjoy a cigar or two sitting outside a restaurant, park, etc. This person will be able to provide transportation using their appropriate vehicle. Miles driven each day will be minimal and just around the Auburn area.
Details:
Days per week: 2 days to start. Caregiver can choose Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
