Our small, single doctor, private dental office is located in Grass Valley, 30 minutes north of Auburn. We are looking for a dental hygienist very soon because our longtime wonderful hygienist has decided it is time for her to retire.
We are hoping to fill this position by May 2024. This position is M-W 9-4 PM and TH 9-2 PM with flexibility if needed. One patient per hour. The pay rate is hourly, and the range is $50-$70 depending on experience. We offer Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Retirement Plan Matching, potential for bonuses and dental treatment.

We do not have shareholders or rigorous production goals. We are a local family practice looking to bring a teammate into our office who shares our values of being kind, reliable and helpful.
This person must have at least three years of experience and both a valid California Dental Hygiene License and CPR certification. Job duties include charting with Dentrix, coronal polish, hand scaling, use of a Piezo ultrasonic scaler, scaling and root planing, application of fluoride varnish when indicated, application of Arestin when indicated, and x-rays periodically 4BW + 3 PA, or every 5 years FMX. Sterilizing hygiene instruments and sharing in the light daily housekeeping.
