Position Overview:
The Office and Project manager at DMCE Concrete supports the successful execution of concrete construction projects by managing administrative functions, coordinating project documentation, and facilitating communication between field and office teams. This role is essential to maintaining project efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, track, and manage project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications.
Assist in the preparation and submission of Exhibit D – Application and Certification for Payment.
Maintain organized digital and physical project files in accordance with company standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of project materials and information.
Support project scheduling and update timelines in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Monitor project budgets and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate internal and external communication, including meeting coordination and documentation.
Assist with permit applications and inspections as needed.
Provide administrative support to field supervisors and office staff. - Human resources and Safety programs.
- Vehicle Registration, Insurance policies and CARB/DOORS compliance.
Qualifications:
Required:
2+ years of experience in construction administration or project coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience in concrete or general construction industry.
Familiarity with Builder Trend or similar construction management platforms.
Knowledge of local permitting and inspection processes.
Work Environment:
Office-based with occasional site visits.
Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
May require lifting of materials or documents up to 25 lbs.
