Job Description
Grass Valley-based position requires a very reliable person with a A/4WD truck, basic carpentry skills, the ability to operate a laptop, and the ability to log into and change settings on a wireless router
Job Detail
Install wireless equipment at customers' homes.
Write clear and consistent end of day summaries on each job
Special projects as assigned.
You will need a truck capable of carrying a large ladder (some kind of ladder rack)
Preferred Experience
6 months - 1 year of installation experience with cable or DSL, satellite preferred
Basic carpentry a must - drills, saws, running cable etc.
Familiarity with Routers and Computers is preferred
Familiarity with wireless technology is a big plus
Ability to identify issues and opportunities, evaluate their severity and an appropriate course of action, and recommend the course of action to management.
Pleasant appearance, customer-friendly, communicative, positive attitude.
Efficient work style.
Energy, inquisitiveness, and passion for outdoor work.
Clear written and verbal communication and typing skills required.
Additional Job Requirements:
Reliable, as in showing up for work on time every day
Reliable (yes, reliability is that important)
This position is outdoors – appropriate winter truck and clothing are required.
Ability to work productively on-site with minimal direct supervision as a remote employee.
This is an exempt position (no overtime pay) that, at times, may require more than 20 hours per week.
