Courthouse News Service is seeking a researcher to cover civil state courts filings in Nevada City and nearby counties. Competitive pay is offered. Journalism experience is not required. Job includes researching new lawsuits and getting copies at the state courts once every other week in Nevada City and Cameron Park and once a month in Colusa and Downieville. Researcher is paid for time spent driving to and from each court in addition to time spent researching. All mileage is reimbursed.
