We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Mechanic to join our in-house repair shop team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, understands the importance of keeping a fleet running safely, and is comfortable diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with heavy trucks, diesel engines, trailers, and basic electrical systems. You should be able to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical problems, complete repairs in a timely manner, and communicate clearly with supervisors about required parts, timelines, and ongoing issues. Daily responsibilities include brake work, oil changes, suspension repairs, inspections, PM services, engine diagnostics, and ensuring all equipment meets safety and legal standards before returning to the road. We value mechanics who are reliable, efficient, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Having your own basic tools is preferred, and experience with Detroit, Cummins, or Paccar engines is an asset. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.
