Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Vernon, CA
Pay Range: $35.00-$40.00/hr (DOE)
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00PM - 6:30AM
What's the Job?
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems efficiently.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment to support production needs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for compliance and review.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with industrial equipment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
