We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cabbie (Personal Teamster) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and friendly transportation to passengers in and around the city. The role involves navigating traffic, maintaining a clean vehicle, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a taxi to transport passengers to various destinations.
Follow assigned routes and ensure timely and efficient travel.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with entry and exit from the vehicle.
Handle fare transactions accurately and provide change as needed.
Ensure that the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with necessary items (e.g., maps, water).
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and local regulations.
Maintain knowledge of local routes, popular destinations, and traffic patterns.
Report any vehicle issues to the supervisor for repairs or maintenance.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a taxi driver or similar driving position preferred, but not required.
Excellent knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and routes.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and traditional maps.
Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and professional attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Ability to lift and assist passengers with luggage, if necessary.
