1. Installs, tests, debugs, diagnoses, troubleshoots and documents software applications using appropriate editors according to specifications.
2. Participates in Agile functions including daily scrums, backlog grooming, sprint planning and sprint retrospective.
3. Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with existing software and web applications and sites.
4. Runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
5. Administers critical analysis of test results and delivers solutions to problem areas.
6. Assists in the maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
7. Liaises with Network Administrators, Database Administrators, Systems Analysts, and Software Engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or enterprise software systems.
8. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Education/Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience is required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.
  • Must have working technical knowledge of programming languages, including C#, C, VB or similar languages.
  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise applications, including SharePoint, MS Exchange, Active Directory, and Git.
  • Must have hands on experience working in integrated development environments, including Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, and MySQL Workbench.
  • Extensive experience with Windows 7+ and Windows Server 2008R2+ operating systems is required.
  • Extensive experience with MSSQL and MySQL database is required.
  • Must have solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including IIS, SSL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap, MS MVC, SOAP, REST, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform™ .
  • Must have hands-on software troubleshooting/problem determination experience.
  • Must have knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Demonstrated experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle, especially inception, construction, and transition.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies is required.
  • Familiarity of the Casino Gaming Industry is preferred.
  • Must be able to meet the demands of a technically proficient, high demand department in a high-pressure environment.

    Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • A qualified candidate/employee must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company’s insurance carrier.
  • Software development certifications such as MCSD: Web Applications, MCSD: SharePoint Applications, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), or Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) are preferred.
