Carbonneau Ceramic Tile, Inc. is looking for the perfect person to join our team as one of our Estimators. Our ideal candidate will be a detailed oriented person, able to multi-task in our very busy showroom and install environment, proficient in Quick Books, Microsoft Office and Excel, have strong math skills, and always exude a customer friendly attitude.
Some of your duties will include, but not be limited to:
Providing typed estimates to our Customers, Contractors and Designers
Billing out partial & completed jobs, processing of change orders & tracking, receiving payments, and
managing project cost & man-hour budgets.
Project organization and preparation.
Oversee the showroom floor, including the displays of merchandise, samples and inventory management.
Work directly with customers, including homeowners, contractors, architects, and designers to consult on various
projects, make tile selections, place orders and schedule appointments.
Keep Owners & Project Manager updated on status on jobs, schedules and employees, daily.
Generate project submittals, closeouts and warranties.
Ensure that each project has every material that will be needed for the job, prior to start date and that all paperwork is
in order for field employees.
Load and unload materials for customers and contractors; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Assist customers in our showroom and answer phone.
Track supplies and materials kept in our warehouse; re-ordering as necessary
Ability to read plans and specifications and generate accurate take offs for bids.
Must be able to follow directions, instructions, take thorough and concise notes for estimates, orders and designs; all
while multi-tasking.
This job requires someone to work M-F 8am-5pm with an hour lunch and some overtime hours avail.
