I am looking for an exceptional teacher who has a passion for both young children and nature. Someone to facilitate age appropriate activities, lead children on nature walks and help build strong community like connections amongst the small class.
We are a licensed daycare serving children 2-6 years old. The curriculum is play based with an emphasis on Waldorf philosophy, social emotional well being and the natural world.
Requirements are a pediatric first aide certification(classes for this are limited so if you dont already have this it may take a while to obtain), current negative TB test, and a couple hours of mandated reporter training. Must have at least 1 year experience working with multiple children. ECE credits are a plus. This job will have a 3 month trial period to see if you are a good fit. Starting pay is $20-$22/hr DOE with 1 week paid vacation every 6 months.
