Freshwater School is looking for a motivated and positive individual to work as Teacher's Aides to assist and support a classroom teacher in meeting the needs of their students for the 2025-2026 school year. Teacher's Aides assist our teaching staff with planning safe and engaging activities and supervising school age children on campus.
Previous experience as an aide is not required.
Qualifications:
Requires graduation from high school or equivalent and one year of experience working with children in grades TK-8 or have college training related to child development. Must enjoy working with children, be self-motivated and have a desire to be part of a collaborative team. Passage of the Paraprofessional Exam is required, and two years of college training related to psychology, child development, or education may be substituted.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
