This is an onsite position and includes a partial housing package as part of the compensation, with additional paid hours for maintenance support work.
Position Details:
Part-time: Approximately 20 hours per week.
Compensation: DOE (commensurate with experience)
Housing: Partial housing package included.
Must be 55 years of age or older (onsite residency required).
Applicants will also need to qualify as tenants by submitting a tenant application and go through our standard tenant screening process.
About the Role:
This role combines light maintenance support with traditional resident manager responsibilities.
The paid portion of this position covers light maintenance-related work, while the onsite housing serves as compensation for general resident support and community oversight. We are seeking someone who is dependable, organized, and enjoys helping others. A friendly attitude and good communication skills are essential.
Typical Responsibilities:
Assist facilities staff with small maintenance needs on the property. A person with handyman experience would be highly valued.
Help plan and attend resident events.
Write monthly newsletter under direction of Property Manager.
Maintain and oversee common areas (trash enclosures, laundry room, Community Center, parking lot, landscaping).
Assist residents with small tasks (changing batteries, light bulbs, programming thermostats, helping with lock outs).
Maintain petty cash fund with accurate reporting.
Show apartments to prospective residents.
Work closely with the property management team located in Eureka.
Some light lifting and ladder work may be required
