Frankie’s NY Bagels is seeking Counter and Kitchen staff to join our team.
Must LOVE BAGELS and be available for morning shifts, Thursday through Sunday, 6am- 2pm/7am-3pm.
Compensation starts at $20 an hour + tips.
DINING/COUNTER STAFF
As the face of Frankie’s, you’ll be responsible for taking and expediting orders, keeping the dining room stocked and tidy, processing transactions, answering the phone, and ensuring a great experience for every customer that walks through our door.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Front-of-house experience in a food service or fast-paced customer service environment required.
Experience using Square POS or similar, handling cash, serving customers, taking and fulfilling accurate orders, cleaning, etc
Friendly demeanor, presentable appearance, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
KITCHEN STAFF
As a member of our back-of-house team, you’ll assist with product and ingredient preparation, sandwich prep line, donut decoration, bagel shaping, cleaning, dishes, and more.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Commercial kitchen/bakery experience required.
Knife skills, order fulfillment experience, knowledge of safe food handling required (current servesafe handler card is a plus)
Attention to detail and ability to read and understand orders
Communication skills sufficient to coordinate actions in a small, busy kitchen
Experience in a fast paced environment
Ability to lift 50lbs at a time
