Hey Juan Burritos is hiring. We are a small family owned establishment that has been serving Arcata fresh burritos since 1982. We are currently open 5 days a week, Wednesday through Sunday. We are only open for phone/take-out orders currently.
Register/dishwasher position is part-time 4pm-9:30pm. Responsible for taking orders, selling orders, washing dishes, and cleaning. Prefer someone with food service experience. Fast-paced at times and must be able to multi-task. Pay is minimum plus tips with room to advance with increases in daily sales.
Prep Cook position is also part-time and for now 2 days per week (Sunday and Wednesday) 6am-2pm with the possibility of becoming 4 days per week (Sun through Wed) when we get back to being open 7 days a week in the near future.
Prep cook is responsible for making large batch recipes of beans, rice, meats, salsas etc. We make everything from scratch in house and looking for a cook that can maintain our standard and help us put out consistent food to our customers. Candidate must have prior prep cooking experience. Pay for the prep cook position starts at $15/hr plus tip share with room to advance quickly depending on train-ability and work productivity.
