Hotel Front Desk Clerk/Guest Relations Manager (933 4th Street Eureka, California)

Hotel Front Desk Clerk needed for both a boutique hotel (Town House Motel) and also a Wyndham branded hotel in the downtown area of Eureka, willing to work mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings. Someone who is reliable and has experience in customer service.

Primary Job Functions:

-Checking Guests in and out

-Answering the phone

-Taking Reservations

-Giving Directions

-Instructing/Supervising Housekeeping

-Light Cleaning

-General Office/Front Desk work

Job Requirements:

-Have and maintain a positive and cheerful attitude under any circumstance.

-Must have excellent communication skills, with the knowledge of the area able to give the best directions as possible.

-Able to Effectively deal with difficult situations professionally

- Basic Math/Computer skills required

- Knowledge of Microsoft office, basic Word/Exel

-Friendly/helpful greeter

-A good judge of character

-Willing to work flexible hours, Week days/weekends and possibly holidays

-Able to follow direction

-Book Keeping skills are a plus, but not required.
