Carter House Inns is a small collection of luxury inns located in Old Town Eureka. We are seeking another reliable and personable housekeeper to add to our current team.
Housekeeper - Duties and Qualifications:
-Must be comfortable doing all basic cleaning tasks including: washing and folding linens, vacuuming, dusting, making beds, restocking toiletries, sanitizing bathrooms.
-Be able to lift 20 pounds and be comfortable with flights of stairs.
-Should have a good attitude! Be flexible and work well with a team of 4-5 other housekeepers by communicating well.
-Trustworthiness, making sure to document items left in rooms as well as supplies used. Will be responsible for keeping valuable hotel and guest possessions safe when cleaning.
-Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or business is preferred but not required. We will provide training on all tasks and duties.
-References available that can confirm reliability and past experience.
Hours and Compensation:
We are looking for a housekeeper to work from 30-40 hours per week, 9 am to at least 3 pm.
Position starts at $15/hour plus tips.
