Low & Slow BBQ, located at the Mad River Brewery in Blue Lake, is looking for an experienced and self motivated line cook to join our team in creating the best BBQ Humboldt County has to offer. We are a dedicated team focused on providing the community with over-the-top quality BBQ and a memorable experience.
Responsibilities include:
Opening/closing shifts
Weekend/open availability
Food prep and knowledge of basic commercial kitchen tools.
Meeting expected high standards when cooking menu items
Maintaining a clean and sanitized work station.
Keeping station well stocked throughout the day
Communicating well with staff including FOH
Ability to follow instructions and recipes carefully
Ability to work under pressure and consistent in a timely manner during the dinner rush.
Dishwashing as needed
Experience in a fast paced, detail oriented, kitchen is strongly preferred. We are looking for an individual with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. Bring your resume to Low and Slow Wed-Sun, 11am-4:30pm.
