Directly responsible and accountable for the successful operation of the Meat Department including profitability, ordering, production, pricing, inventory control, customer service, department conditions, staff supervision and productivity. Oversees and performs all functions of meat production. Supervises, motivates, and provides meat staff with the tools required to be successful in their jobs. Meets department objectives for sales, margin, and labor goals. Ensures customer are provided with high quality products and an outstanding shopping experience.
